    Bentoshield Max PE

    BentoShield MAX PE is developed underground waterproofing product for aggressive environments with high acidic and salt concentrations. BentoShield MAX PE provides an interactive barrier system for the life of the structure.

    Functions

    BentoShield Max is a self-healing waterproofing material specially developed for underground waterproofing. It consists of polymer-modified sodium bentonite granules or bentonite powder and high-strength geotextiles, which, when integrated with concrete, can be directly applied to compacted soil surfaces without the need for a mud slab or protective layer. It is designed for construction areas with foundation depths of 12 meters and above. BentoShield Max forms an interactive barrier system throughout the lifespan of the structure, providing waterproofing and preventing the infiltration of water to safeguard the building.

    Properties / Features

    • Bentoshield Max PE provides waterproofing for foundations and walls of structures in seawater or acidic-alkaline environments
    • Due to its high resistance against puncturing, there is no need for protective screed
    • Bentoshield Max PE can be directly applied onto compacted soil without the need for shotcrete
    • There is no need for a brick wall in concrete curtain construction
    • Bentoshield Max forms a mechanical bond with concrete, preventing water from infiltrating into the structure
